KiwiRail AKS class carriage in NZ120.
The AKS class carriages were rebuilds of British Rail MkII carriages, originally rebuilt as the SA class carriages for use on Auckland’s metro rail network. The AKS were introduced to be used as additional luggage-carrying carriages, replacing older 1970s vans.
This 3D print represents the AKS class as introduced. It consists of four parts:
Carriage shell
Underframe
2x bogie sets
Scale is NZ120 (1:120 or TT scale, also known as TT:120), designed to run on N scale track.
Chassis:
Model comes with a chassis and two bogies, requires 2x N scale wheelsets and screws to hold bogies in place.
Measurements:
NZ120: 162mm long x 22.65mm wide x 25.10mm high
