The AG class guard’s and luggage vans were converted from FM class guard’s vans, following the withdrawal of guard’s vans from all NZR goods services in 1987.
This model is of the central (GM) module upgraded with a genset (generator) to provide power for passenger trains. The model consists of three modular parts and the underframe.
