Putting the Z into NZR…

More “Z” class NZR bogie box wagons are now available in the store.

First up, the ZP class, a classic of the 1960s. Originally built for parcels (hence the “P”) the ZP survived into the early 2000s, although they are no longer in commercial service. Several can be seen at heritage railways.

Second, the ZH class. The ZH wagons were modernised ZA class wagons with fibre-glass sliding doors. They have since been rebuilt as curtainside wagons know as the ZHC, which are being replaced by the ZWT wagons (IA class container wagon with two curtainside containers).
